lol what did you mean in a real courtroom? haha that's so funny cause she always says in her shows sometimes "in this court you can only.." it's not a real court? would she be qualified as a judge in a city county court?

Judge Judy Scheinlin has five children and several grandchildren. She is a distinguished judge who has judged in NYC Family Court as well as criminal court. Not a job for a wimp.

If she did not accentuate her natural ability to be tough as nails, noone would watch her show. She obviously has good business sense as well.

And yes, it is a real court on TV.
