How can avoid getting bored and slacking off Senior year?

By Candi1657 (Candi1657) on Sunday, September 19, 2004 - 03:42 pm: Edit

No...it's inevitable.

Just kidding...I call senioritis "senior fatigue"...Which I think has less of a negative connotation...Hehehe...Slacking off a little won't hurt, but it is never a good idea to let grades slip too far. What kept me from complete slackerdom was simply not wanting to disappoint my mom and the teachers that helped me get into college in the first place. It sounds cheesy, but it's true.

Keep your college brochures in your backpack to remember the future is near!

Just think of how embarrassing it would be next summer when your final transcript goes in to the college which accepted you, and they write and say hey, too bad but we're rescinding your admission because you slacked off. I don't know about you but the thought of that and of my parents killing me kept me working hard til June.

do colleges like ivies top LACs rescind if you get straight Bs 2nd semester? or do they only rescind if you have a lot of Cs and below? like 3 or 4?
