is it ever justified?
| By Vancat (Vancat) on Sunday, September 05, 2004 - 05:41 pm: Edit |
obviously yes.
Once at a sleepover, I fell asleep and my friend put whipped cream on my hand and tickled my nose. However, he didn't notice that i wasn't *really* asleep and i just scratched my nose with the other hand.
When he finally fell asleep, me and some other people drew on his face with permament marker, sprayed whipped cream over his entire body. Then, we proceeded to beat him senselss with pillows and sock-em-boppers.
So yes, revenge is justified.

Not necessarily "eye for an eye," but turning the other cheek wins nothing.

A similar thing happened to me. This guy said some things to me, which I personally found offensive.
So I go a bunch of my friends, and we waited for him as he was going home. Then, we beat him with baseball bats until he was unconcious.

HAHA that reminds me of a Christopher Walken SNL skit where Walken goes on a prank show and is like "this guy kept taking my parking spot every day... one day I decided to get back at him. There I am hiding behind his car... and then I jumped out and pranked him! To death with a tire iron!" and the host is shocked. Classic.

I've done plenty.
Like, my sixteen year old cousin used to pick on me when I was little.
So I switched her birth control pills with placebos. Boy was that a surprise...
But I baby sit her daughter sometimes, to make it up to her.

The French have a saying
"Revenge is a dish that is best eaten cold"
Quoted to me in the past at an appropriate time by a certified Frenchman.
I thought it had some wisdom.

One book:
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas.
A guy's life is ruined because of other's personal motives. He escapes jail and uses his new found wealth to get his revenge.
It's an awesome book. Atleast watch the movie.
