When I was 14 (and 17) I felt like the richest girl in the world with $10 in my pocket.

By Foreignboy (Foreignboy) on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 02:07 pm: Edit

When I was 14, $10 could buy a steak dinner.. and a new jacket.. and a sturdy pair of cowhide boots. Did I mention that when I was 14, we didn't have the cushy school buses and cars that you kids have. I had to walk 5 miles to school and back everyday barefoot, because we couldn't afford shoes... and it was always snowing... and there were always monkeys chasing us... Snow monkeys! You little whippersnappers don't know how lucky you've got it... Hey wait, it isn't time for my injection! Stop! St..

Haha, yeah, I remember that crazy eighth grader (I think his name was David) who was crazy about SAT prep and stuff. Hahahahaha, made me laugh.

Eighth grader: If you're reading this, I didn't mean to offend you :)

By Patr1ck (Patr1ck) on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 02:54 pm: Edit

By Awesome (Awesome) on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 06:00 pm: Edit

Good luck. You're pretty smart for a ninth grader, I'd say.

By Patr1ck (Patr1ck) on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 06:26 pm: Edit

hello, patrick!
happy birthday! your turning fourteen, thats pretty cool. And your just entering right into highschool, thats pretty cool too.

By Idiias (Idiias) on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 08:23 pm: Edit

College is good so far. I moved in on saturday and it's kind of overwhelming. I'm not use to the big city...but it's cool. I took a walk to the lincoln memorial. We had freshman convocation which was okay. Classes start tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that. I found myself getting really bored these few days. although, the college girls haven't lived up to my expectations. This may be due to the fact that half my residence hall is the honors program....

By Idiias (Idiias) on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 08:24 pm: Edit

oops wrong thread

By Idiias (Idiias) on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 08:25 pm: Edit

By Lame (Lame) on Wednesday, September 01, 2004 - 01:30 am: Edit

You called him smart? He didn't even spell tomorrow right...

By Welshie (Welshie) on Wednesday, September 01, 2004 - 01:41 am: Edit

He obviously meant "to marrow" or, in other words, "to fill with," as in, his padres are going to marrow his bank account with an exorbitant amount of money.

By Patr1ck (Patr1ck) on Wednesday, September 01, 2004 - 11:51 am: Edit

exactly! anyways I havent written properly the whole summer so dont be surprised if I spell some words wrong. my brian is fried!

my b-day was awesome! I went to a buffet and then I went to my friends place, one of my friends got me a PS2 and also my other friends got me 5 games in total. mom gave me a bank account with 2000 in it. pretty good over all

Well, compared to my brother... who's also a ninth grader, Patrick writes well. I guess my brother's just dumb...

Happy birthday, Patrick!

By Patr1ck (Patr1ck) on Wednesday, September 01, 2004 - 05:57 pm: Edit

Thanks Awesome! Haha Im not a big fan of the Canucks! I much rather like the Maple Leafs! They are in Toronto and thats where I live. Idiias, actully St. Andrews travel to the USA all the time for events like debating, basketball and hockey. And we do beat most of the private school in the USA! 6 more days until school!

By Welshie (Welshie) on Wednesday, September 01, 2004 - 06:47 pm: Edit

By "Canuck" I meant canadien, not the hockey team.

By Patr1ck (Patr1ck) on Wednesday, September 01, 2004 - 06:58 pm: Edit
