Even though Kerry gave Bush the leverage to use his presidential authority in Iraq as needed, I believe the current war was wrong.

I'd consider myself an independent but I'm definitely voting for Kerry. There are of course many reasons, but one of the main ones is that the narcissism of the religious right really really frightens me. The whole idea of an amendment "protecting" straight marriage is absolutely insane and in my view, says alot about the political ideology of George Bush.

Just had to add this. Going into Iraq to fight the war on terror was like trying to put out a fire with gasoline.
