Ya I go on AIM a lot and these chicks i don't find attractive keep messaging me, it's annoying. How do you get em to stop talking to you?

You're assuming that these girls find Appliedmath attractive and want to date him- which may or may not be the case. Although I think the OP may be kidding, he can certainly just block anyone he likes. I don't see why it matters if these girls are attractive or not. If you're on AIM, you can't see them, and attractiveness isn't a prerequisite to great conversations.

This is a serious problem that is faced not only by me, but many others. I'm not in the miniority here by stating my predicament, and I'm many others would benefit from learning how to deal with these cases.

When boys talk to me online, I don't care if they're hot, as long as they're nice, funny, and good conversationalists. It's not like you have to look at them, or even be their best friend- and the block button has been mentioned several times.
