Hi everyone,
My question is: Is there any hope for me?
Background: Will graduate in Jan 'o5. Current gpa is 3.7 overall, 3.8 in major.
I am 24 years old. A year and a half off after graduation froom hs. Have not been working past two years, attending school full-time. Will turn 25 this sept.
I have not completed any internships. For two semesters, I worked as a tutor at Temple.
My instincts tell me that I will have grave difficulty landing a job after graduation. Partly because (and I heard this from a Professor) Temple's reputation is falling, and rapidly. This is not surprising, considering that Professor's these days hand out grades. A gpa over 3.7 is nothing to brag about if coming from Temple apparently.
Also, my age might be a problem?
Any insight is appreciated.
Kris

there will be a lot more hope if you go to the career center when school starts back up and work with them.
