It's so hard to read and know who is responding to whom.
Is it really necessary to sign in every time we post? Surely I am missing something here.

No, there's an easier way to have the computer "remember" your info. Just go to frame on the left side of the page, click "Edit Profile." Log in and such, and then go to "Preference" and check the box that says "Remeber my user name and password." If you have more than one person using this site, then you want to check the box under it, too.
