Well? I feel like I'm wasting my time. I'm driving 2,000 miles across the country to go to college in exactly two weeks, and I can't very well buy anything I need until I get there, so I don't have much to do...

I've been shopping like theres no tomorrow... haha I've been distracting myself from the reality of actually starting school by figuring out how im going to decorate my dorm.

I bought some of my fall wardrobe and some sheets.
I am also excavating all of those school supplies that I didn't use last year (extra papers, pens randomly tossed about the room, clean dividers) and seeing how much of those I have before I buy new ones if I don't need them right away.
I also bought a new hair dryer and stuff for the shower...
I still have a long way to go.

Saving money, buying a second home, and applying for scholarships.
You get real boring and practical when you reach 35.

Reading is my biggest prep. Basically just making sure I don't become an idiot over the summer.
I also bought my sheets and school supplies.
Haven't started packing yet.

Studying (refreshing my memory) chemistry and trigonometry.
Yeah, you don't even have to be 35 to be boring and practical......

I haven't done a single thing but sit around. After I've fully recovered from surgery, I will go shop for what I need.

For some people, like me, trigonometry and geometry are the easiest. I have more trouble with Calculus and all that. I guess it depends on how you think.
I'm pretty much doing the same stuff to prepare. Read hundreds of books, try to tone up my body, earn a bit o' money from Holiday Inn, try to change my housing assignment from a men's only dorm to a coed dorm.

I didn't say Trigonometry was hard. I'm doing a refresher on it though because it has been about ten years since I took it last and I'm looking at a very busy schedule.
Don't look at me like that......

how old are you Demingy?? just curious since you said that "you don't even have to be 35 to ..." and you're saying that the last time you took Trig was 10 years ago...

What am I doing? Nothing really. Reading, writing, trying to prepare myself mentally for the stress and frustration of college life, establishing connections with upperclassmen and trying to find a Work Study Job on campus.
