Ok, so I was just about to shut down my laptop when I got the infamous Blue Screen of Death (makes me wish I got a Mac, but anyways...). Thing is, no buttons work now. Not even the power button. There is no way I can think of to turn the thing of and reboot, except to unplug the ac power and let the batter die overnight.
That sounds a bit extreme, but really, I don't know what to do. You guys have some suggestions??

Did you just press the power button? Sometimes, you need to hold it down for awhile.

Hold down power botton for 5 or 10 seconds.
Can't you physically disconnect the battery? If that doesn't work, there is always the hammer.

If holding the power button failes, just take out the battery.

Make love to it gently. Works like a charm. ;)
