I heard this problem earlier this year and thought it was pretty neat. Since there have been various people posting math problems recently, I thought I'd throw one into the mix:

Assume A1 indicates A_1 (it's easier to read this way):

Three segments A1A2, B1B2, C1C2 are constructed on (different) sides of an equilateral triangle. Extend the lines A2B1, B2C1, C2A1 so that they form a triangle. Prove that the lengths of A2B1, B2C1, and C2A1 are proportional to the sides of this triangle.

no, why would i need one? come on it's just a waste of space...i like to keep more practical things up there like my wallet, my pet hamster, some times i rent out my empty head as a walking locker during the school year...also im pretty popular with the stoners...no one thinks to check for a bong inside someones head.

Math is fun ALL the time. But especially when I'm having a brain scream. Def-when my brain craves a certain activity (usually math, sometimes logic puzzles, sometimes writing) and proceeds to scream at me.

OPINION!

i thought they were just being sarcastic and funny...its three posts to a thread that probably wouldn't have gotten off the ground in THE CAFE (take it to high school life where people are looking for those topics)
