I noticed a few people here are on a first name basis. I feel alittle left out...:( So post your first names..

Jessica. I hate the first, so blonde sounding, so perky, so popular. I prefer my French pronounociation that the English. Jessy-is-cah. Now, in a French accent, Jessy-is-cah. Good.

Don't be shy, post on!

Luap, eh? Are you a fan of Interstellar Pig?!

BTW--name's Cliff, short for Clifford; in my short existence, I don't think my parents have ever pronounced it correctly, leading to either "Criff" or "Cwiff"...I much prefer the latter, though.

Courtney, but you can just call me Court.

By Ilovefood (Ilovefood) on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 - 06:40 pm: Edit

Wow...surprised that I'm the first 'Mike'...it's derived from a question in Hebrew: 'Who is like God?' and is meant to be a reminder that nobody is divine, but everyone should strive to be as close to God in terms of actions as they can. Personally, I like to leave the question mark off and give myself some of that artificial divinity. Hell yeah!

Magoo: does your screen name have anything to do with Mr. Magoo?

UMMM, not really...though i do like Mr. Magoo, this was inspired from one of my nicknames...u see, no one can properly pronounce my last name. so someone just ended up calling me Magoo one day (the name is irish and that's all u'll get out of me)

so its one of my favorite nicknames and thus a screen name.

By Zantedeschia (Zantedeschia) on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 - 10:28 pm: Edit

Bridget. From the Celtic meaning "strong" or "mighty." Some translations as "resolute strength."

Nicknames include such things as "Miss Swinging Her Legs Fajita Girl," or "ChemE Wench," or other nonsense.

I much prefer AriesAthena. :)

By Scorp (Scorp) on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 - 12:48 am: Edit

My name means who is like g-d. (Actually it's a question "Who is like g-d?" ie. Who else is as mighty; it's a rhetorical question. Although my ego would suggest that it's a statement ;)

By Magoo (Magoo) on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 - 12:50 am: Edit

"Miss Swinging Her Legs Fajita Girl,"...hmm, sounds like an interesting story!!! :)
