How can I get rid of my skin tags I have on my neck? I have a lot of them and I am also getting them on other parts of my body.
They can be removed by cutting, burning, or freezing [by a doctor]. It doesn't prevent new ones from coming, but the ones that are there can be treated. I like to snip them. They have nerve endings and blood vessels, so they do hurt. But they are really common. It is extra skin that just forms. Nobody knows what causes them, but they usually appear where skin rubs against skin. The tendency to get them seems to be inherited. Heavy people get them more often.
