Does the money from a Work-Study job go into the pocket of the student or to the school? Any help is grateful. By the Way, Anyone Joining the Colgate Class of 2008? If so, Anyone going to OUS on Wednesday?

You are paid by your work study job and generally students use it to pay expenses, books etc...
My niece is joining her sister at Colgate, one is 2005 and majoring in classics and the other will be 2008.
