Time, Newsweek, and US News and World Report are the big 3 news magazines. But I am not sure they are free.

Newspapers: Read both NYTimes and WSJ. That should keep you honest. Both are world-class papers and each will balance out the other as far as bias.

free? this is america of course it ain't free...
TIME isn't that expensive though its like 60 cents an issue or something cuz its a big publication and they can afford to make it cheap...if you buy any of these you should buy them through their offers...i bought like 20 issues for about $8.00
just curious what are the big publications in your area...
