I've heard little side notes on how some people wished that they had seen this board before they sent in their applications and other people were thankful that they found this AFTER they sent in their applications. (Parents too)

Now, who really wished that they had (or hadn't) seen this before the application deadline? Do you feel it would have been useful? If you found this after sending in the application, how is this place of any use to you?

Just curious

Personally, I don't know. There are pros and cons to it

Pros

1. Good place for neurotic dumping.

2. So-so for information.

3. Good for ego-deflation. Good lord! Some of these stats are scary!

4. Some really funny people post here.

Cons

1. Lots of know-it-all smarta$$ kids.

2. Lots of "Internet tough guys" who post stuff they'd never say to your face.

lol- that's real mature boys (girls?)...anyways...
PROS:
- good place to be when bored
- great humor
- can post any q's i have and get an answer w/ in 5 min...although sometimes i'm not sure i want to know the answer with all of the sarcastic wanna-be's on this board
- school related q's answered
CONS:
-doesn't help with my disease of procrastination...i swear there's no cure!
- like Noodleman said: "Lots of know-it-all smarta$$ kids."

I have nothing else to do, and I'm stuck behind a desk for hours a day because of my summer job. Collegeconfidential gets a lot of my time, even though I'm already done with the whole admissions process. I sincerely hope that after September, I'm done here forever.
