what is the best rivalry in Professional sports

i think it's the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs

don't start arguing everyone will be biased toward there favorite team

Yankees-Red Sox. Not just because I'm a Yanks fan either. The rivalry spans many years, and since both teams usually play well, it makes for great baseball.

Personally I don't think you can argue against this rivalry as being the greatest of the four major sports. The fans' passions for each team are just so deep as well.

any original six hockey game, esp a few Leafs-Canadiens, then some new ones like Philly - Jersey, and any local teams like oilers - flames, and leafs - sens
best could just be Wings-Avs, after all the •••• thats gone on in the playoffs between - like the bloody brawl with mccarthy, claude lemieux etc. where even the goalies went nuts

Though I'm a huge hockey fan, and the Red Wings vs. Avalanch battle can be pretty heated at times.

-So much bad blood, especially fueled by that punk Chris Hovan who had his ass handed to him last season. Always a split- we can't win in Minny, they can't win in GB. Although I must thank the Vikes for letting us into the Playoffs last year- although our Defense blew it.
