are they mostly asian/white/etc?
are they really that ugly?

Well, they're not known for their beauty. However, not having seen a great number of Berkeley girls, all I can tell you is that out of the two girls I know who are going there, one is brilliant and very attractive, and the other is brilliant and cute in a brainy way.

I beg to differ...I can find something that attracts me to atleast 75% of the male population enough that i would want to date/sleep with/pounce and ravage them. I guess it depends on your tastes.

But seriously, don't you think there are far more attractive girls around than attractive men? It seems like a reasonable statement to me, especially when you consider the amount of time and effort ladies put into their appearances. I don't think guys work on themselves to the same degree, and it shows. If I'm wrong--somebody tell me.

I think it's about the same, maybe leaning a little more towards men. Then again, I'm female so I tend to see the faults in other women because I know what mine are. When I look at men, I notice the good things. As for putting time and effort into appearance, a lot of men spend lots of time in front of the mirror, what with the rise of the meterosexual.

If you like to go to a school where the best looking girls and guys are and also with brains..UC Santa Barbara is for you! You should visit the campus around 4 pm on school days...you'll see what I'm talking about...

Ugh. I lived near UCSB most of my life! Lots of beautiful anorexic tan blondes in teeney tiny ruffly skirts talking on their cell phones up and down State St. Actually there are quite a few of those at UCLA also, but not as many-- oddly enough. Yes, Santa Barbara girls have a certain look. But as for the guys...uh... not my type. But to be fair, I guess there are a lot of good looking guys around there too. If you like surfers. Ok, you've found me out-- I'm picky. But, there are still more attractive women than men--even around UCSB!
