Im a high school student so i don't know th is
Do each dorm rooms have their each mail box ??
How do you guys recieve mails ??

On the second floor of my building there's a big balcony lounge type thing (overlooking the first floor entrance...not like outside) and it has a wall of mailboxes. Letters go there. If I get a package, they put a slip in my box and I have to pick it up in the little office next to the boxes between 8:30 and 10 at night.

It works. I'm sure each school has a nice system worked out.

At UPenn each student has a mailbox (shared with a roomie if you have one) in which you get letters and package slips. Fortunately, the "Service Center" is open till 1 AM on the weekdays so that means never missing a package because I wasn't home while the delivery guy came by. I can pick up my stuff whenever I want now, mwa ha ha.

my roommate and i share a mailbox in the main hall of our residence halls. if we have a package they put a notice in our mailbox for us to go pick it up at the front desk (speaking of which, i got a care package from my mom today and i felt so special)

At my school, everyone gets their own mailbox in the mail center, and keeps the same box all 4 years (or as long as you live on campus). Bad part is, the hours are short and I can't pick up mail after 9 pm.

It differs for every school, but if your school doesn't provide anything, you can rent a PO Box at the post office for about $50-$75 a year.
