do the dorms suck?? which would you say is the best one out of all of them? foothill? unit 2?
tell me all u know! thanks!
ps-does dorm food suck

each building in the existing units is very similar, although unit 3 is newer. units 1 and 2 have major construction going on. unit 3 is closer to telegraph and upper + lower sproul, the main hubs of campus. unit 1 is closer to the math, engineering, and science buildings than unit 3. unit 2 is further from campus than unit 1, and since everything else is similar between them, i would say that unit 1 is better than unit 2.

is unit 1 better than unit 3, or vice versa? too many factors. unit 1 (and 2) is closer to crossroads, the main cafeteria. but unit 1 has construction, and is older. unit 3 has a different location, a separate cafeteria (unit 3 people can also go to crossroads, but its much further) but better if you want to be closer to the sproul areas.

foothill is by the engineering and math buildings. it is very far from telegraph and sproul. it is generally seen as the dorms for engineers, although anybody can choose it. it has a very nice environment, seen as some type of "camp." however, it does not have high rises like the units, and because there are many suites, if you lived in the units, you would have more people living in your general area than in foothill. bowles and stern are just about extensions of foothill. they share their own cafeteria.

it all depends on what you want. generally, people favor unit 3 out of the units, and unit 1 next, with unit 2 last.

crossroads has good food, i am not tired of it after being here for a month.

my dorm room in unit 1 is ok, factoring in the construction and my poor view. but you dont get to choose what room you get to stay in at any of the dorms, so everybody in each unit has an equal chance.
