OK, I've heard that UCSD has a less than adequate social life. How good/bad is the social scene? There is USD and SDSU not that far away I guess.

SD state and USD aren't close.... UCSD is in La Jolla which is decidely north of San Diego.

USD isnt that far form UCSD. It's about only a 10 minute drive. With clear traffic, SDSU is about 15 minutes. The social scene @ UCSD is what you make of it.
