Were you guys always interested in math/science? Or were you interested in it, but isn't very good?? I'm interested in considering engineering as a major, but I'm not very good with neither math nor science, and I'm afraid I won't make it. I'm really horrible at science, and I do suck as much as I say. For my WASL, I passed all sections but Science. I was at level 1 out of 4 levels. Ouch. So I was just wondering if you guys were just born to love science and math or something. And if you recommend anything for somebody like me??

I always liked math and science but always got better grades in my english and history classes during high school. I don't think I even got an A in math until my last semester of calculus. Then in college I got interested in biomedical engineering through a freshman seminar course. I switched from being a prospective comparative literature major to engineering.

It can be done. My recommendation is of course to work hard, but also, when you need help, get help. Help some guy/gal get into medical school by getting tutoring from them!

Lets make this thread "truth about engineering part II"

anyways i was wondering if its easy to find a job at any part of the country for engineers. After graduating from UIUC, i would love to get a job in the bay area

Becks - The Bay Area is a hard place to get ANY kind of job. It's a very nice place to live (I think rated the #1 place to live for young people, just above Austin, TX), which is probably why it costs so darned much to live here.
