oh can i add to that...??? do you have to spend longer at the college to complete a double major? like extra years? sorry to jump in on ur post, i am also interested in double majoring!

xx

that really depends on how well the two majors overlap. For example electrical and computer engineering have very similar curricula for the first 2 years and some more overlap later on. But if its 2 really unrelated majors, both of which require many courses, youll prolly have to spend more time in school.
also it could happen that u simply cant take a certain course at a certain time which would extend your time for no good reason.

aerospace engineering and either math or computer science or some teaching program (to become a teacher, i dont know exactly if its a major).
or aerospace and electrical engineering but that sounds impossible.
u can see i dont really have an idea yet, but i definitely will by september.

I know that BU does not charge extra for taking additional courses or majors.

No college charges extra for a double major or a minor or anything.

if one was to intern abroad... that would definately lengthen the amount of time it takes to get that dual degree, wouldn it? im really hoping i can get outta there in 4.5 years max.

Some schools don't specifically charge for the extra major, but they DO charge for the extra classes (above four or five or whatever) per semester.
