anyone here going to UC riverside and visit the campus housing lately?
I chose pentland hills, how is it like there?
moreover, anyone know the freshmen admission statistic for UCR for 2004 to 2005?

I'm going to UCR but i hasn't seen the campus or even been to Riverside yet. I chose Pentland Hills too since i just found out the other residence hall's (Lothian) kitchen caught on fire. I think this year it is a little harder to get in UCR b/c they don't do referrals from other UC's anymore except for engineering majors. I know a guy who has a 3.5 and 1250 SAT score that got rejected from UCR so the budget cuts did affect UCR's freshmen enrollment this year as they offered 700 less spaces than last year. They said from now on all the UC referrals will go to the new UC Merced instead of UCR.

I choose west lothian, I wanna choose pentland hills too, but then it's like 300 dollars more each quarters, oh well, I feel bad for your friend, as the budget cut affects me too, my first intention is not UCR, but now I am gonna go there and be proud of myself.
