I was just wondering if anyone goes to BU or lives in the Boston area and has seen BU's theatrical productions. I recently sent in my deposit to BU and am feeling a little regretful, thinking I should have chosen Emerson instead, because of the arts. Its really hard to tell if BU's arts are good because it's sucha big school.. But seriously, if BU's theatre is not good, thats a big downfall, since I do plan to participate in productions in college. I don't want to work hard to be in shows that will suck. btw (i'm basicaly talking extracurricular theatre b/c i don't know if all students are allowed to audition for the theatre dept. shows)

I don't know about the extracurricular theater program, but BU has a phenomenal acting conservatory that's constantly being chosen for productions at the Kennedy Center and such. But that program is uber-competitive, and I don't think students who aren't in the conservatory or grad program can participate in it . . .
