I am consindering a major in engineering. I am a junior in high school. I worked really really hard and got an A in PreCalc with a bad teacher. I also got an A in Chem Honors. What is the general workload per night? I am one of those people that have to really work hard for good grades. Do I have a chance at getting an engineering degree. Do the UC and State schools vary a lot with difficulty?

hey, i think you will be ok...it really depends on which school you are going in... say if you go to top50 usnews rated school, then you probably need to study pretty hard to get an A. but for the rest of schools... getting A is not hard at all, especially during your first 2 years taking general courses...
all the best

engineering is difficult period. top 50 undergrad schools do not matter.
