I'm goin to Stern and i know that the orientation is a week before class starts around august 30th but does anyone know details like when exactly we can move in, when our parents are supposed to stay and when our actual orientation is?

Move in day is Sunday August 29 and All University Orientation begins on Monday and runs through til Labor Day. Parents can stay as long as they like, it's up to you and to them. There are some orientation events for parents as well as students but they're usually in just the first couple of days.
