I found this site and singed up for their premium Listner plan, they give you any to audio books for about $20 a month. I picked the De Vinci Code since it is so popular for my first book, still debating on which other to pick. Anyway what do you people think of this service and its usefulness for college (they have most Bestselling political, bussiness books.. and literary classics i'm sure to find in English, Philosophy, History, Economics, e.g. Wealth of nations) and for summer reads?
P.S. can anyone reccomend a good Mp3 player to go along with this, I was looking at Gateway's but still searching

I think it's a great online store. I downloaded several books for the looong drives during college visits. We got through 4 books in two separate trips...I'd recommend A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bryson, and "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman." (Autobiography of Physicist Feynman).
I don't know about the usefulness for college, though. As for summer, if you're going to the beach or on a cruise, it sure beats listening to the book rather than trying to read it while getting a tan.
"Pompeii" was a nice, easy "listen" as well.
And ipod is an excellent player

Boo iPod!! Get the Rio Karma--Gapless, more formats supported (including losless), ethernet capability, small size, frequent firmware updates, twice the battery life of the iPod.
Albeit, it is not as pretty, but is sure as hell more functional.
