I plan on bartending through college. Is anyone doing this or has anyone done this? I'm going to take classes in the summer. If worse comes to worse and I can't get a job, I figure I'd still be a hit at parties?

Sorry about the misspelling of the title, but I figure that's a good reason to go to Bartending school, right? To learn to spell "Bartedner"?

Sounds pretty fun, I just wonder, when do you party yourself if you're a bartender, seems like you'd always be working when everyone else is partying.

heh bartenders always get recognized when they arent partying. You will also know all the right guys and get treated like a VIP at your own bar/club. Its a good way to keep the girls coming without doing too much work. the pay is good as well so i wish you good luck
