I have been accepted at both schools and am finding it difficult to choose. While one is private and one public, each has a great reputation. I intended to enter the engineering schools at each school, but am now having second thoughts. HELP!
Both have College of A & S, but Wash U. also has business school that would be available now. Virginia's business school is only open to Juniors and Seniors.
Anyone have any idea if degree from one or the other would be more valuable/marketable? Either in engineering or A&S or business.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

WashU's cooked their stats to move up in admissions rankings. Although they may be above UVA in the US News and World Reports (I don't know if they are or aren't), UVA is more prestigious. That aside, I loved UVA. Charlottesville is a perfect college town set in one of the most beautiful regions I've ever seen. UVA's certainly a sociable school, and I was really drawn by the tradition, the Honor Code, the gorgeous girls - all that "Old South" stuff. I'm not going, but I'm definitely missing out.

Don't go to WUSTL for engineering. You would do better at UVA.
As far as business goes, UVA is still better.
