not very good.
There aren't very many good parties.. It's Queen's. It's where all the smart ppl who like to study go. THough it is a good school. Kingston's boring. THough crazy highschool kids try to pick up hookers (so I've heard from my friends). One bar/club I went to was LAME!!

When I visited Canada last year, our tour passed by Queens briefly. The tour guide made a comment about how students at Queens must be studying really hard because Kingston is the most boring place so there's nothing much to do. I don't know how reliable the tour guide's information is, and I didn't stay there for very long, so it may not be that bad.

I lived in Kingston this summer and a couple of years ago and there are lots of parties/bars in Kingston. Its not as big as Toronto but Kingston is on Lake Ontario and its a great place to be during the summer.

Well if you are male, at least you'll stand out above the competition (which includes former inmates at some of Kingston's 11 prisons and RMC students)...
I've gone to Kingston for debating tournaments, and I know students there, from my experience its a fairly dull city, but the university is big enough to have a great frosh week, etc.
Also, might I add, Alfies sucks hard. Bad lighting was definitely a good choice however.

I accepted Queen's offer in case RMC doesn't send me an offer. I thought that the RMC guys mainly stayed on their side of the bridge. I didn't think that RMC guys had a "reputation". Kingston is only boring compared to the big cities but its fun during when the buskers come to town.

RMC I think is the Royal Military College.. It's a neighboring college/university...
