The older I am, the more fearful I am that I will betray and forget my cause. I hope by writing this Mission Statement, I may stay within the narrow path that I have chosen for myself. Life is short and I desire happiness. I will not waste my time earning what society deems important; I will be true to myself. I will not submit to status symbols. I will not buy an expensive car, I will not drink expensive wine, I will not collect antiques. I will feel no need to prove my success. It will be evident in my accomplishments. True joy does not come from material possessions. My pride, once wetted would be insatiable and it would devour all chances for happiness. I will use my money to help my fellow man, to educate, to shelter, to feed, so that I may enjoy the happiness of those that I have helped as if it were my own. In this way, I shall know peace and in this way, I shall be known.

It's great that you have a real goal in your life... something deeper than getting into college X or making lots of money. Keep it up-- the world needs more people like that.

Steve, my advice to you is to get laid as SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. Oh and selling out aint all that bad.
