I'll be going there this July, and I'm searching for info, mainly about the day-to-day routine, how much time do you get to study, any major events that take place during the year, how is the military training incorporated throughout the academic year. And, of course, the type of people I would most probably meet there.
Thanks.

Didn't you know?
Navy kicked Army's ass this year on the football game.
I heard that it was Navy's biggest win over Army.
Face it. Navy Rules!

Counting from the year the games begun, we beat Navy by 5 games. Meaning, we were better overall.
Just wait till next year.

GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!

Well...
My dady is in the Navy...
He used to be a professor at U.S. Naval Academy, but now he's at Korean Naval Academy...
Anyway, Navy Rules!!!
Army is kind of dull...
Always walking with both foot on land...
Duh... I do that like everyday.

I wish I could have gone to USNA/USMA. I have a few friends there right now. I took the alternative approach and have been doing ROTC. Most of ya think we slack off cuz we ain't part of the long grey line. In reality though I think my life has been extremely hectic juggling PT, staff meetings, conducting inspections, training, extra-curricular, and THEN my 18 hours of class plus my 20 hours as a research assistant (oh yeah, I also do drill with a guard unit once a month). I still like doing it though--going to a big university and being able to wear my shirt untucked and letting my five o-clock shadow grow in on the weekends--but hell, I can still fire a grenade launcher--and that is what really counts.

I had a friend that went to WP for one summer. This person dropped out after CBT because of a lot of "scandalous" things that went on (hazing, etc.).
