What is the best reward/benefit a person get's for attending an out of state college?
What's wrong with staying in state?

Nothing's wrong with staying in state --- especially if you are in a state like Virginia, Michigan, California, etc. that have a lot of really excellent schools to choose from.

It depends on the institution that you have the opportunity to attend out of state. Other than the institution itself, the other possible reward/benefit for out-of-state, would be the fact that you get to experience a different state.
