Which colleges have the best dorms/worst dorms?

Wow, that is a very broad question. Start by creating a list of several specific colleges, these can be colleges you are interested in attending, or a random mix of campuses. Search for web sites about these colleges, there is usually a Residence Life page that will give you an idea of the size and structure of a typical dorm room. It seems to me that junior colleges have better rooming facilities... why, I'm not sure. But let me tell ya, I live alone in a 12 by 18 foot room, and it is small!! I am convinced that my friend's older brother has the nicest dorm I have ever seen. He goes to Northwestern Medical School and his dorm kicks ass. He has a single that was meant to be a double but he got it by luck of the draw. It is one of the biggest dorms I have ever seen and when you walk in it feels like you are on a movie set.

most mit dorms kick ass! my particular experience is with baker house-i have three guy friends who share a triple-it's huge! but then again, you could get REALLY lucky and end up with a triple and only one roommate!

George Washington University had AWESOME DORMS... dorm buildings are pretty old but as a freshmen you get a bathroom for every room (ie you and one other person will share a bathroom) and house cleaning services once a week to clean your bathroom, sweep floors, etc

I'm in the MIT class of 2007 also!! I have a friend who's in McCormick, she really likes it. I've also heard that most of the MIT dorms are really good.
