Does anyone have a URL for a comprehensive listing of college newspaper sites?

George, this College Newspaper Directory may be just what you are looking for. Hope this helps.

I have an issue I would like to see addressed in all college newspapers across the US. Is there any site which woiuld allow me to e-mail editors across the country simultaneously?

Hi, Daniel... if anyone had a list like that, it would be public relations/news release distribution firms. One such service is http://www.uwire.com/. They have a press release service, but I'm sure it's not free.

You might do some persistent web searching to see if anyone has posted a list of e-mail addresses for college newspaper editors, although one problem would certainly be list quality. The personal addresses no doubt change frequently, and the generic addresses like "editor@" are probably spammed out and not very responsive.

Thank for the direction, Roger. Much appreciated. I also appreciated your timely response. Best Regards.

Roger -- somehow I missed this thread earlier in the year.

Many thanks for posting the College News Directory link -- what a terrifc resource!!! Reading the college newspapers played an important role in older son's application process and will in younger son's upcoming search, too -- but unless you know the paper's name, not all colleges have made finding the online student newspaper an easy task.

I keep abreast of current campus events and issues at my son's selected school by regularly reading his college's newspaper. It certainly helps our communications -- rather than me just asking "what's new on campus?" and son replying with the always informative "nothing much," we enjoy more detailed exchanges because I possess enough background info to ask questions about specific issues.

Thanks again -- I'll personally be putting the link to good use and I will also be adding it to my "pass on" resource list.

Glad you found the resource useful, RS. If you monitor the school newspaper at your son's school, you may find you know more about campus goings-on than he does!

I've been a step ahead a few times.
