Thought some of you here would be interested in this resource from the New York Times -
http://www.nytimes.com/college/?ea
You can sign up for up-to-the-minute email alerts about Times articles on the topics you're interested in, so it's quite useful for staying on top of research, schools you're interested in, or anything else. They also have college-related articles featured on the site.
Please email me if you'd like more info!

Thanks, Alicia. That's an interesting domain name--"electricartists.com" Does that relate to some kind of high-end web creation firm?

Hi, Alicia. I'm a little hazy on what the College section is - I see there is a "front page" with college-related news items. Is there other content, too?

Well, to answer your questions...
In addition to the college-related articles featured on the home page, the College section also includes many archived Times articles on numerous subjects, making it a great research tool. They also have resource sections compiled for both students and faculty that are quite useful.
ElectricArtists is an online marketing company - we do a lot of grassroots-style promotion for fun and interesting new products including music, movies, DVDs, video games, and more, including New York Times College. Right now we're working on everything from the new Paul McCartney album to the American Pie 2 DVD to a new product called Alka-Seltzer Morning Relief. I'd be happy to tell you more if you want, send me an email.

I noticed they have a college admissions discussion there, too, although it appears to be one giant thread!

Popped by there again, first time in a while. It looks like the "College Front Page" has more relevant content now. Or, maybe it's just a good day.
