okay just wondering... how many classes do u take a semester in college.. for high school its like 6 ... is it more in college

Usually four in college - they meet two or three times a week (sometimes four), but the work load is larger. Lab courses run for three to four hours per week, all one session. Usually, you need to petition the dean to take six classes.

As an engineer I take 5 to 6 classes per semester. The workload and amount of class time varies from school to school. At Cornell I had recitation sections. At my transfer school there are no recitation sections....good for me since I would rather spend the 50 minutes doing my assignments.

I'm taking four classes this semester, but for each one I have a lab/discussion, or lecture/lab, so I really have like 8 classes. Next semester I will have five classes because I'm adding a freshman seminar to use up the two extra credits that I'm paying for (you pay for 12-18 units, and I'm only using up 16- a seminar will bump it up to 18)....Wow wasnt this fascinating.

If you're a first-time frosh, do NOT take more than four. Take more to make up for your first semester later. It's too hard when youre attempting to make friends, learn about the campus, move in and study for more than 12 units. (By the way, I'm quoting a friend who started at MSMC two years ago...I'm a first time frosh myself this fall.)

at my highschool we take 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ofcorse thats becuase im mexico 
in a roman caothlic private all girl high school oh well i cant move till i move to detroit!!

not supposed to take more than 12? We have to at USC to stay on track.
