Briefly, my daughter is a college freshman. We did not file FAFSA early in 2004 like we should have...bygones. My husband lost his job in April (but severance money through October), thought he'd get another quickly (WRONG!), I have another daughter in private school, our savings is dwindling while our credit card debt is climbing, I had major surgery in November, husband just had surgery to repair a detached retina (which makes looking for work very difficult), so right now our income is at a whopping $20,000 a year (my income)....can we still file to get help for second semester??? Her university says yes, but how do you take all of this into consideration electronically? Any help and tips are appreciated!!
