science for me :) BTW, is it true that if you are a semifinalist you can get into most of the tier-one schools assuming you have decent grades, scores, EC's, and you're not a jerk?

Do you know when everyone is notified as to whether they are a semifinalist or regional winner or whatever?

semifinalists - October 22

regional finalists - November 1

I did mine on particle physics. What did you guys do yours on?

is a regional finalist greater than a semifinalist? sorry if I'm a bit of a noob on this. . .what is the heirarchy of awards?
