I am currenly at NYIT in manhattan NY. I want to go away to school now and PennState. I wenat to study information science which the only school in NY that has a reputable program is Cornell which i have no chance of getting into. I dont remeber my current EFC but i know its starts like this 02----

I wnat to know how much of a hit will my finacial aid take at penn state. i cant afford the full 22k a year plus room and board

YOur EFC is on your fafsa, which would probably be the same at Penn State. SInce Penn is a public university whose priority is thier own instate residents, unless you have some killer grades, I would not expect any financial aid from the school so be prepared to full pay or take out loans.
