I got a reserve for me when I graduated HS in 2000. It was renewed for 03-04 and when I applied for financial aid this year, it seemed because I didn't keep them up to date, I was withdrawn from it in December.

I'm just wondering what are the chances of me regaining in an appeal. My EFC is 35 and I have been just busy helping my family working and so forth since my father was laid for most of last year and the year before. Financial aid just wasn't on my aid to tell you the truth. How long will it take for them to respond? 8-12 weeks as they claimed?

Anything I should tell them in my letter so I can increase my chances?

I'm just really worried since fees are due the day after tommorrow and school starts in a week. I didn't anticipate losing my Cal Grant as I assume that would pay the rest of my expenses and I could work for spending money or so.

I just don't want to work FT again while attending school. It will be too much for me if I intend to carry a full load and keep up with my schoolwork.
