Does anyone know how joining the National Guards ( which is like part-time military work ) affects financial aid ? The student would be living at home and training every month .....is there a "paycheck " that counts towards his income?

...shouldn't you be sending this to the White House? :-)
(Hey, it's just a joke - please do *NOT* start a barrage of pinko_liberal_rabid_conservative replies).

I know - I feared that as well . My D protested at the Republican convention but her freind , sired by two very radical , liberal , old Californian hippies , is thinking of the National Guards - which is part - time military (?) at home . He is NOT interested in enlisting for 6 years . I looked at the FAFSA that he will have to submit ( EFC 0 ) and wonder how working "part - time " with the military will affect his FAFSA .
