does anybody off the top of their head know any unusual scholarships? like i know one for build your prom dress out of duct tape.

There's a scholarship for left-handed people who do a few other things (which I forget) and want to go to Juniata College.

UNC-Greensboro has a scholarship from an alumna that's given to an unmarried, teetotaler female that has no job and doesn't own a car. (Again, might be missing a few things there.)

The scholarships you get for speaking Klingon and being over 6'2" (tall.org) are a bit more straightforward.

I just checked this book out of the library and found it informative: High School Senior's Guide to Merit and Other No-Need Funding. by Schlachter and Weber. It listed the above mentioned scholarships and many more.
