If the fafsa SAR states that you are not eligible for a Federal Pell grant, can a college still award this grant to you and also award the FSEOG (another federal grant) if they chose to? Or is it strictly based on your EFC? How low does your EFC need to be to be eligible for these awards. One of my child's financial aid packages awarded these grants to her and her SAR states that she is not eligible.
