Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of the above scholarship program? My son received an application from his counselor - it requires a $15.00 application fee, so I'm wondering if it is legitimate. Any comments will be appreciated.

By the way, this organization is listed on a lot of (what appear to be legitimate) school sites. I did, however, find these two references:

http://www.dailybruin.ucla.edu/DB/issues/97/09.22/news.scholarship.html

http://wwwshs1.bham.wednet.edu/studentservices/scholarship/VOL14NO2.htm

My take on this is to be cautious. If I read the material correctly, there are only five scholarships given out. The odds against receiving one might be very large...for $15.

Anyone else out there know anything? My child picked this up from the school counselor's office but she has no further information.
