Hey all,

I just requested PIN #s for my parents and I today. Do I need to wait for the PIN #s or can I just submit my FAFSA now and sign it later?

Second question, my parents did not complete their 2003 tax return forms yet. Nor do they have their 2003 W-2 forms. Can I fill out my FAFSA forms using our 2002 tax return forms and estimate. And when my parents are done with 2003 tax returns, (most likly mid of Jan or end of Jan), I could just send those in to each school????

PS
My parents aren't done with 2003 tax return forms yet b/c they are waiting for their *employment wage sheets...or something from their work.* Which comes to employees generally around mid-end Jan. Then they'll have to take them to our lawyer. Is this too late? Seems like everyone is done with FAFSA. :-(

Yes, estimate. This will be easier next year when the due date is later. It is always problematice for the first year.Look at the Financial Aid Board. A lot of kids are asking the same question, and there is a lot of good advice there.

Whoops, lost my place. I'm going back and forth from other things, doing 3 things at once. There are other posts on the same subject on this board. Morgantruce and Vadad have some great advice for all of you struggling with these forms.
