is it possible to fill out the 2003-04 form, and file it for 2004-05? i'd like to apply asap (meaning january 1st), and it would be much easier if i could log on and just click the button, instead of having to fill it out in january.
does anyone know if this is possible?

No... you are not allowed to do that. You must fill out the 2004-05 FAFSA after January 1st.
