Since MIT has the deadline for all fin aid forms on Feb 1st, earlier than all of my other colleges, I have to prepare the FAFSA and Profile before then, right?? My question is, what if there is a MAJOR change in my family's fin situation after i've filed this? Can I refile the forms, for MIT (and my other schools)?
Will they take it?

That's right. They know that you will be estimating many figures. No need to make any changes for later schools---they also know that you estimated figures.
Later, when you choose a college to go to, they will get ACTUAL figures and make you a firm FinAid award.
