About what score on the PSAT do you need in order to get at least in the competition for the National Achievement Scholarship?

From what I've seen from readng boards for about 8 years, one needs at least a 190 to make semi-finalist. One also needs, I think, an unweighted 3.5 average or higher to make the finalist level.

My son had a 206, and was National Merit Commended and a National Achievement semi-finalist, but didn't make finalist because he had only a 2.9 unweighted (smart, but lazy kid). In the letter that the National Achievement Scholarship people sent him telling him he didn't make finalist, they cited his grades as the reason (something that I had been warning him about for years.....)
